Had a successful shopping day! One of my finds was this plain jersey dress from French Connection. I really like the cut, which is very simple and minimalistic. The slight shoulder padding works great for my petite shoulders and the keyhole button fastening at the back is a nice subtle detail to the dress! I can see this piece being very versatile and worn over and over in so many different ways.

the 4 inch voluptuous heel

Wore these Boutique 9 Meredith heels from Nine West to my sister's birthday party last night. Love the thick heel, the simple shoe shape is pure elegance. Wore this with a full black ensemble; black high waisted silk pants, a suede belt and a plain shirt. Remarkably, they are incredibly comfortable and I managed to wear them all night without an ache or a whine!

It seems that the minimal white dress has been seen repeatedly in the spring/summer runway shows.  Its simple, its clean and its fresh!  And the different looks on the catwalk prove that the minimal white dress can be worn with versatility.  Wear it casually with a pair of red flats or black booties.  Or dress it up with a pair of nude or strappy heels.  And leaving out the accessories or keeping it minimal is better.  Less is more, right?

most wanted no. 1

The new year brings new things... and new wants.  The first MOST WANTED item for 2011 is this ring by Delfina Delettrez.  I love the simplicity of the shape.  It's quite different than Delettrez's usual work which tends to be more gothic and anatomy influenced.
